May 6th 2008—Minor League Baseball got off to a good start in a bid to break its all-time attendance record for the fifth consecutive season. The average crowd per playing date, through April, is up slightly from the 2007 total when the Minor Leagues drew 42,812,812 fans.
May 7th 2008—The Durham Bulls and the Raleigh Campus of University of Phoenix today announced the creation of the "Friends of Phoenix" Kiosk that will be located in the main concourse of the Durham Bulls Athletic Park for the remainder of the 2008 season. When not occupied by the University of Phoenix, the kiosk will be made available to charitable organizations in the Triangle for outreach opportunities.
